How We Work: Endowment Capital and Fields of Work
Our model rests on two complementary pillars: the Endowment Assets (Capital) we grow, and the Areas of Work funded by the income from these assets.
Endowment Assets: A Sustainable Resource
We aim to grow endowment assets made up of real estate, income-generating projects and balanced investments. In this model, the principal is preserved, and the annual income it generates is used to fund our humanitarian projects.
This model is what sets an endowment apart from one-time donations: an ordinary donation provides benefit once, while an endowment offers an uninterrupted flow across generations. When you contribute to an endowment asset, your impact continues for as long as that asset keeps providing benefit.
A one-time donation feeds today; an endowment nourishes for years to come.
Humanitarian Areas of Work
The income from endowment assets is directed to defined areas of work that turn our mission into tangible impact. Each area has a structured framework, clear priorities and periodic, results-oriented accountability.
While we strive to be present wherever there is need, we focus our work particularly on the following regions:
Regions affected by war and conflict
Areas that need substantial support in the processes of recovery, restoring services and rebuilding livelihoods.
Overlooked regions
Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as minority/Muslim communities in Southeast Asia and Latin America, where needs are high but global attention remains limited.
People in need within Türkiye
The most vulnerable groups in Türkiye—the home of our organization, the country we live in and are honored to serve.
When you contribute to an endowment asset, your impact lasts for generations.
