From Istanbul—a city that throughout its history has served as a bridge between different societies and cultures—we set out with a humanitarian vision inspired by the spirit of endowment and solidarity. We turn this deep-rooted heritage into programs and partnerships that respond to the needs of people today.
Our presence in Istanbul goes beyond being an administrative headquarters; it is a strategic location with a heritage of civilization and endowment that makes it easier to build bridges between Türkiye and the wider regional and global landscape. With this understanding, we bring donors, experts and partners together around measurable and sustainable projects.
Why Istanbul?
Istanbul represents two fundamental, complementary dimensions of our institutional identity:
A Heritage of Civilization and Endowment
Istanbul holds a rich legacy of endowment and community service. From this heritage we take the idea of “continuous giving”: a gift that is not used up once it is made, but instead becomes a lasting resource that serves people and protects their dignity.
A Bridge for Partnerships
Istanbul’s location and its strong ties with Türkiye, Asia, Europe and the surrounding regions offer practical value for building networks of donors, experts and institutions. In this way, we turn partnerships into projects that reach many communities.
Setting out from Istanbul, and placing human dignity and effective solutions at the heart of every project, we extend bridges of solidarity to communities in need of education, protection, empowerment and recovery.
Be part of the bridges of solidarity reaching from Istanbul to the world.
